Pumped Up Volumising Conditoner is formulated to be a light weight conditioner with ingredients chosen to add volume. Conditioners are typically slightly acidic (with a pH around 3.0 - 4.0), which helps to close the hair cuticle after it has been opened by the more neutral to alkaline shampoo. This smoothing of the cuticle helps to retain moisture and give hair a smoother appearance. With a positively charged conditioning active and Panthenol (Vitamin B5), these ingredients support the formula by ensuring volume primarily by conditioning and smoothing the hair without weighing it down, reducing static and frizz, improving manageability, and supporting the natural lift of the hair cuticles. This combination of effects helps create the appearance of fuller, more voluminous hair.When applied to the hair, Vitamin B5 penetrates the hair shaft and converts into pantothenic acid, which binds to the hair, retaining moisture and improving elasticity. This binding action causes the hair shaft to swell slightly, giving the appearance of fuller, thicker hair.

If this is your first time using natural products, your hair might be going through a little detox phase as it transitions away from silicones. It can take up to around eight washes for your hair to fully adjust and reveal its true texture and bounce.

This is brilliant. I have curly very fire hair and after the menopause it is quite thin at the front. All of a sudden I look so much better. Even my husband noticed! This is definitely worth the money.
